ADMISSION POLICY
American Language Academy (ALA) welcomes international students and is committed to meeting the needs of English language learners. ALA admits students of all races, genders, religions, nationalities, ethnic groups, and educational standing. ALA enrolls students that are 16 years of age or older who wish to improve their English for academic, professional, and social purposes. ALA accepts students who are at the high school, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral level of their education. ALA provides meaningful, engaging, and challenging educational experiences through our programs that are designed to give personal attention to every student in an open, diverse, and interactive environment. ALA students have the benefit of learning in small class sizes of no more than 10-15 students per classroom. Students also participate in cultural activities, field trips, and extracurricular social events created to cultivate their English language skills.
ALA does not discriminate in the administration of our educational and admissions policies. ALA strives to maintain a diverse ethnic group of students consistent with our educational mission and follows the diversity policies of our students’ scholarship sponsors. Regardless of the type of learner, there is an admissions option for all prospective students. Our Admissions Team is here to help all students to take the next steps in furthering their educational, professional, and social goals.
